Now that GST has been launched all over India, people are busy either applying for fresh registrations or for migrating themselves on the Goods and Service Tax portal.   • Log on to https://www.gst.gov.in/
  • Click on Login
  • Enter your Username and Password to log into your account
  • Click on ‘Dashboard’ tab
  • Select “View/ Download Certificates”
  • Form “GST Reg-25” will be available for download and you can download it

In the downloaded file you will see the Provisional GSTIN number which will be allotted to you. Until and unless ARN number is not being allotted, you can make use of this number as GSTIN. You need to wait for few days more in order to receive ARN number. Keep checking the GST login id to updates. You can check for ARN in GST application status. Just do the following:

  • Log on to https://www.gst.gov.in/
  • Click on Login
  • Enter your Username and Password to log into your account
  • Click on ‘Dashboard’ tab
  • Now select ‘My saved application’
  • Status of your Application will be displayed and if your ARN has been allotted then the number will be displayed on your screen.
  • Click on “Download Acknowledgement”
  • PDF file will be generated in which you will see your ARN
